Polymeric Imaging is proud to announce the release of PermaBond Bio, the industries first bio-based, eco-friendly, bio-solvent, plastic card laminating mixing vehicle.

 

This bio-based mixing vehicle has been specifically formulated to meet the credit card industries laminating requirements. PermaBond Bio has been designed specifically for use with metallic, pearlescent type pigments, often associated with plastic card screen printed constructions, which optimize a smooth bonding and highn peel strength of the film to the printed core stocks.

 

The foundation of PermaBond Bio is based on the premise of using both sustainable and organic compounds, which contribute to PermaBond Bio’s reduced carbon footprint. PermaBond Bio is a low VOC, low odor formulation. The origin of PermaBond is based on the commitment of reducing the earth’s dependence on exhaustible fossil fuels. PermaBond Bio, by its nature, contains a variety of renewable organic carbon neutral components.
