The Thixatropic Clear is a unique UV ink, which when applied will allow printers to accent and simulate a wet, water droplet look. Depending upon mesh count and emulsion build, the printer can achieve a variety of different size ‘droplets’ or three dimensional (3D) effects. Incorporating our GP 13185 Overprint Clear with the Thixatropic Clear will reduce tack and mesh marks to produce a clean deposit. The most common ratio of Thixatropic Clear to Overprint Clear is 60:40 or 70:30. Thixatropic Clear will also allow printers to produce a variety of color effects by adding small amounts of WR colors, metallic pigments, fluorescents, glitter, phosphorescent and pearlescent.
